PC Gamer Reader Awards – tell us about the PC gaming gear you love

0

What PC gaming gear have you fallen in love with? It doesn’t matter if it’s the latest Nvidia graphics card, an AMD 2000 series processor, or that cranky gaming mouse you bought a few years ago but can’t stand now. Anyway, we want to know about it on the PC Gamer Forum.

And we’re not necessarily talking about what you think is your most powerful superstar component, or your most expensive purchase, we’d like you to tell us about the different parts of your gaming setup that matter most to you. If you play with it regularly today and it brings joy to you, we want you to tell us why this particular slice of PC gaming has found a place in your heart.

Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll find out what our PC Gamer players are playing with and why you love the kit you make. So every day there will be a new category of equipment and we would love to get involved and tell us which products speak to you and why. Then we’ll collect all the entries, shortlist for each category, and then you’ll have the chance to vote on which products are expected to earn the coveted PC Gamer Reader Award.

Today we ask you about your wildcard choice for the beloved PC gaming equipment.

Is there a potentially obscure part of your PC gaming setup that you can’t bear to live without, but that doesn’t necessarily fit into a simple category? Do you swear by your Gunnar Optiks, is the shiny TrackIR permanently attached to the top of your monitor or do you really love your VR headset?

Just head over to the lovely PC Gamer forum, log in or create a new account and let your feelings be known in the generic discussion thread. Without quoting the original post, tell us the name of your beloved product, then a line or two explaining why this means so much to you.

During this week, we’ve also asked about the gear you like in the following categories:

So if neither your GPU nor your CPU sparks joy in your cold and cold heart, then maybe it is your streaming mic that is really making you gooey for your gaming PC setup. Check out the other threads of chat and let us know what you think and, who knows, you might even find yourself on the site in the rest of our PC Gamer Reader Awards coverage.
