The platform revealed that Meesho had more than 57 million downloads from the App Store and Google Play Store from August to October 2021, according to App Annie, making it the most downloaded app across all categories in India.

In a statement, Meesho said, “The company saw its facilities in India grow more than 120% quarter-on-quarter in the third quarter of 2021, surpassing all other e-commerce platforms in the country for quarterly downloads. ”



The blog also revealed that Instagram was the second most installed non-gaming app in the world last month with more than 56 million installs, which was a 31% increase from October 2020. Countries with the most Instagram installs were from India at 39%. , followed by Brazil at 6%. Facebook, WhatsApp and Telegram completed the top five most installed non-gaming apps in the world for the month.
